Syzygium aromaticum infused in sweet almond oil | Topical Oil · Warming Massage · For External Use Only
Cloves were once worth their weight in gold, carried from the Maluku Islands and Zanzibar along the spice routes. Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine both prized clove as a warming spice. We slow-infuse whole cloves in sweet almond oil for 8 weeks to make a rich, warming massage oil.*
Clove's signature compound, eugenol, has been studied in laboratory research for antioxidant activity and activity against common skin bacteria.* Sweet almond oil is a traditional emollient that softens and conditions.*
HOW TO USE
Patch test a small area of skin first and wait 24 hours. Then apply a small amount and massage in gently. Warm the oil between your palms before applying.
INGREDIENTS: Sweet almond oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis), clove bud (Syzygium aromaticum).
Please note: For external use only — not for internal use. Eugenol can cause skin sensitivity, so a patch test is important. Contains almond oil (tree nut); avoid if you have a tree nut allergy. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and broken skin. Not for infants or young children, or for use over large areas during pregnancy. If you take blood-thinning medication, check with your healthcare provider before regular use. Discontinue if redness or irritation occurs.
